In the second phase of the three-tier Panchayat elections, voting has started in 40 development blocks of the state from 8 am. Polling parties are on duty at 4431 booths. A total of 21,57199 voters will cast their votes in the second phase.

Voting continues even in the rain

Despite bad weather, enthusiastic voters are reaching for voting. Despite drizzle, people are coming out of their homes to vote.

Salt, Syalde, Bhikiyasain, Hawalbagh and Dwarahat in Almora, Rudrapur, Kashipur and Jaspur in Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat and Barakot in Champawat, Vin, Moonakot, Berinag and Gangolihat in Pithoragarh, Haldwani, Ramnagar, Bhimtal and Kotabagh in Nainital, Dunda, Chinyalisaur and Bhatwadi in Uttarkashi, Pokhri, Dasholi, Nandanagar, Karnaprayag and Gairsain in Chamoli, Kirtinagar, Devprayag, Narendranagar and Chamba in Tehri, Doiwala, Raipur and Sahaspur in Dehradun, Yamkeshwar, Jayharikhal, Dugadda, Dwarikhal, Pauri, Kot and Kaljikhal in Pauri. In the first phase, polling has been completed in all the development blocks of two districts Bageshwar and Rudraprayag. Therefore, the second phase of voting will be held in 10 districts instead of 12.
