Forest wealth damaged in 226 hectares area
In 204 incidents of forest fire in the state since February 15, forest wealth has been damaged in 226 hectares area. If we look at the incidents of forest fire in the state since 2014, the least number of incidents occurred in the Covid period 2020, this year biodiversity was damaged in 173 hectares area in 135 incidents. If the current conditions persist, the number of incidents after the Covid period may be the lowest. Rainfall was a major reason for the reduction in forest fire incidents.
