A meeting of the Uttarakhand Cabinet was held in the Secretariat on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. In the meeting, many important proposals related to cooperatives, animal husbandry, dairy and tourism were approved. Information Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari gave information about the decisions of the meeting in a press conference. Told that the cabinet approved the decision to conduct audit in the cooperative department from block to state level. For this work, the post of Deputy Registrar (Audit) Level-11 has been created, which will be filled by deputation for a period of five years.
Beautification works also given green signal
Under the Badrinath Dham Master Plan, beautification works were also given green signal. Under this, artistic depiction (artwork) will be done on the walls, which will also include the walls of ISBT. In an important decision related to the Animal Husbandry Department, approval was given to merge the 90% subsidy cow scheme available to the beneficiaries of Scheduled Castes with the ‘Ganga Cow Scheme’ of the Dairy Department. Now people of the general category will also be able to take advantage of this scheme.
How much subsidy will the general category get
However, the decision on how much subsidy will be given to the general category will be taken in the next cabinet meeting. Apart from this, steps have also been taken towards filling 429 vacant posts of livestock extension officers. It has been decided to reduce the previously prescribed two-year training period for them to one year.
