These days, the series of rains is continuing throughout the state, it has been raining in every area since June 1. Due to the rain, people have got relief from the heat, but in the meantime the risk of diseases is also increasing continuously, which has increased the concern of the health department. Experts believe that humidity and falling temperature have created a favorable environment for virus-borne diseases. Due to which the possibility of spread of corona virus has also increased. On Tuesday also, the corona report of a 39-year-old CISF worker resident of Manduwala in Doon has come positive. The infected person has no travel history. When his health deteriorated, he got tested at Graphic Era Hospital. Let us tell you that so far 17 cases of corona have been reported in Doon. Out of these, 9 patients have returned home after recovering, while 6 patients have gone out of the state. Currently 2 patients are under treatment.
The spread of the virus can be fast
According to experts, the weather at this time, in which there is mild cold on one hand and moisture in the air on the other, the spread of the virus can be fast. The increasing cases of seasonal flu and other viral infections show that the current weather is favorable for the spread of COVID-19. The fluctuations in temperature are also favorable for corona infection because it affects the immunity of people and in such a situation they become victims of diseases relatively easily. In such a situation, it is important that people take necessary precautions regarding corona.
The spread of infection is in a limited state
According to State Surveillance Officer Dr. Pankaj, the situation regarding corona infection in the state is normal. Currently, no new variant of corona is being transmitted. Dr. Pankaj says that COVID-19 is now being seen as an endemic disease, that is, it is no longer a new or suddenly spreading disease. It is now behaving like other common viral infections. Only common symptoms like fever, cough or fatigue are being seen in corona affected patients. Most patients do not need any special medical intervention. They are recovering by isolating at home with minor medicines and rest. The daily positivity rate is also very low, which remains around zero. It is clear that the spread of infection is very limited.
