Amidst the recent efforts for peace talks between India and Pakistan, ceasefire has been violated once again by Pakistan, which has created an atmosphere of anger across the country. On this, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has taken a sharp dig at Pakistan’s double policies in a poetic style. Reacting sharply to Pakistan’s nefarious antics, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor wrote on his ex (former Twitter) account, “Uski faitrat hai mukar jaane ki, uske vaade pe kijaane kaise karun?” — through this sher, he exposed Pakistan’s unreliability.

On Saturday night, rockets were fired from Pakistan across the Line of Control (LoC). Shortly before this, Shashi Tharoor had told a news agency that, “Peace is needed and this effort is commendable, but it is necessary for us to get complete information.” He also clarified that India never promotes war, but it is also necessary to give a strong message against terrorism. According to him, India has given this message through its action.

Pakistan’s real face behind ceasefire violations

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that recently an agreement was reached between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan, in which both countries agreed to stop firing. But just a few hours after this agreement, Pakistan violated it and made its intentions clear. The Indian Army gave a strict response to this provocation and took the situation on the border under control.

Official announcement of ceasefire

According to the Foreign Secretary, Pakistan’s DGMO called the Indian counterpart at 3:35 pm on Saturday and confirmed the ceasefire. Both the countries had decided to stop all types of military action on land, air and sea borders from 5 pm.
