The journey of 11 years of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been completed. On this occasion, Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda presented the details of the government’s achievements before the country. He said that before 2014, anarchy, partisanship and corruption dominated the politics of India, but in the last decade, the NDA rule has laid the foundation of a transparent and accountable government.

The dream of an inclusive and strong India was realized

JP Nadda said that Prime Minister Modi not only changed the political culture in the country, but also realized the dream of an inclusive and strong India with the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”. The politics of appeasement was eliminated and priority was given to the politics of responsibility and public interest. He also told that decisions like the abolition of Article 370, abolition of triple talaq, and 33% reservation for women in legislative bodies are proof of the farsightedness of the Modi government. Apart from this, calling the changes in CAA and Waqf Act as historic decisions, he said that these steps have brought positive changes in the structure of the country.

The people of the country accepted every challenge by showing faith in the leadership

The Union Minister said that the government has created new opportunities for women empowerment and the deprived sections of the society – whether it is the participation of women in military services or making them economically self-reliant through self-help groups. He further said that decisions like demonetization were definitely difficult, but the people of the country accepted every challenge by showing faith in the leadership. Today India is at new heights in the world’s most successful cleanliness campaigns and areas like new education and health policy. Describing this entire journey as a historic step towards a “developed India”, JP Nadda said that the trust of the people and the commitment of the government have been the real strength of this change.
