State Public Works and Irrigation Minister Satpal Maharaj has instructed the officials to be alert and active regarding the monsoon season. He said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s intention is that no passenger should face any problem during the monsoon and the blocked roads should be opened soon. He said this in the review meeting of the Public Works and Irrigation Department at the Chief Engineer’s office in Yamuna Colony on Wednesday.
Do not take any kind of negligence

He informed that 54 roads were blocked in the state due to rain, out of which 19 routes have been opened. At present, 672 roads in the state are fully open and traffic is being operated through 361 alternative routes. Instructions were also given to keep the drainage system in order due to the possibility of waterlogging in the plains.
