Weekly Janta Darbar was organized in Dehradun Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Savin Bansal. During this, 140 problems like land dispute, domestic discord, compensation, financial assistance, road, drinking water, education, health, employment came to the fore. The District Magistrate resolved most of the cases on the spot and directed the concerned officials.
Weapon threat case: Gun license suspended
On the complaint of Racecourse resident Vikas Ghildiyal that his father threatens him and his mother with a licensed gun even after divorce, the District Magistrate, using his privilege, issued an order to suspend the weapon license on the spot.
Strictness on the problem of waterlogging: Instructions to solve in a week
Kiran Goyal raised the problem of drainage of Bangil Library Road, on which the District Magistrate directed the Superintending Engineer of the Public Works Department to solve it in a week. Warned of adverse entry if action is not taken on time.
Relief given to disabled, widows, sick and girl students
In the pension case of disabled Tikaram Sharma, the Social Welfare Officer was summoned and the instructions were given to approve the pension immediately.

In view of the financial condition of the widow woman, instructions were given to connect her with self-employment and to get help from the Rifle Club.

Help of Rs 4,000 per month was approved for the orphaned grandchildren of Usha Devi of Shyampur under the sponsorship scheme.
Action on the complaint of the Cabrian Hall School
The parents complained about arbitrary fee hike at the Cabrian Hall School. The District Magistrate summoned the report of the previous action taken from the Chief Education Officer and directed strict action against the fee hike against the rules.
Cognizance on the demands of vocational trainers
The trainers complained about harassment and nominal honorarium hike by Vision India Services Private Limited Company. The DM requested the Education Secretary to solve the problem. All district level officers including SDM Apoorva, SDM Kumkum Joshi, Chief Education Officer VK Dhoundiyal, District Probation Officer Meena Bisht were present in the Janta Darbar. The District Magistrate directed the officers to ensure prompt resolution of all the cases with sensitivity.
