After the accident at the Mansa Devi temple, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed to allow devotees to enter the major religious places of the state only according to the carrying capacity. Describing the accident in Haridwar as unfortunate, he said that guidelines have been given to the officials to prevent recurrence of such incidents in future.
Arrangements will be strictly implemented
Arrangements are being strengthened at religious places where a large number of devotees and pilgrims come for darshan. Priority is being given to possible expansion of sites, parking and traffic management and adherence to safety standards. CM Dhami was talking to journalists at FTI. He clarified that these arrangements will be strictly implemented at all major religious places of the state including Mansa Devi temple.
Special awareness among voters to elect government
On the question asked on Panchayat elections, the Chief Minister said that unprecedented enthusiasm has been seen among the people across the state for the three-tier Panchayat elections. Voters have shown special awareness to elect the government of the villages. Due to this, the voting percentage has increased in the first phase. Said that the representatives of the three-tier Panchayat elections have a big contribution in the development of the Panchayats.
