T-20 cricket match was organized on December 29, 2024, at Doon Global School, Dehradun, Sudhowala, in memory of Late Shri B.D Raturi . The match was played between National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA) Dehradun and NIMA Uttarakhand. Several dignitaries attended the event, including NIMA’s District President Dr. Iqbal Singh Grewal, State President Dr. Mukesh Dabla, President of the Women’s Cell Dr. Anoop Dabla, District Vice President Dr. Sukhwinder Sharma, and Dr. DS Bisht.
The match was sponsored by zoic Life Sciences, a renowned pharmaceutical company in Uttarakhand. Colonel Ajay Kothiyal was the chief guest, and Sanjay Gupta, Managing Director of zoic Life Sciences, was the guest of honour. Before the match, a two-minute silence was observed in memory of Late B.D Raturi followed by the national anthem.
NIMA Dehradun won the toss and batted first, scoring 145 runs. NIMA Uttarakhand won the match, with Surendra Rana being declared the man of the match. Late B.D Raturi brothers were present at the event, and the Raturi family thanked NIMA for organizing the match. zoic Life Sciences also felicitated Dr. Anil Raturi with a memento for his excellent services.
The event was attended by several prominent personalities, including Colonel Ajay Kothiyal, Sanjay Gupta, Dr. ARP Raturi, and Naresh Raturi , Dr. Dhiraaj Joshi spoke about Late B.D Raturi ji’s life and his contributions to Uttarakhand’s development. Medals and trophies were distributed to all the players after the match. Joik Life Sciences’ bowler Bhag Singh Chaudhary was praised for his excellent performance.
