Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a meeting of the Union Council of Ministers on Wednesday. This will be the second cabinet meeting of his third term and for the first time after the recent Pahalgam terror attack, all the senior ministers will deliberate together. The meeting will review the policy achievements of the last one year as well as discuss the strategy of public dialogue regarding ‘Operation Sindoor’ launched against terrorism.

According to sources, this important meeting will begin at 4:30 pm, in which the Prime Minister will present the priorities of the government and the upcoming roadmap through his address. After this, Cabinet Secretary Dr. TV Somanathan will present a presentation of the policies and developmental decisions of the government, while External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will shed light on the action related to ‘Operation Sindoor’ and its diplomatic importance.

PM’s focus will be on economic development and future direction

In his address, the Prime Minister will outline the steps taken towards the resolution of making India a developed nation. In the last cabinet meeting, he gave the mantra of “Perform, Reform, Transform and Inform” and talked about development by keeping women, youth, farmers and the poor at the center. This time the focus will be on concrete steps to be taken towards making India the third largest global economy.

It will also be decided in the meeting that a comprehensive information strategy should be made to reach the major schemes, decisions and campaigns of the government to the people. An awareness campaign will be started across the country till June 25, especially regarding the decisions related to caste census. At the same time, a plan will also be prepared to present India’s anti-terrorism policy strongly on the global platform through ‘Operation Sindoor’.
