Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved the approval of a total amount of ₹ 350 crore as grant to 70 MLAs at the rate of ₹ 500 lakh per MLA for development works in their assembly constituencies from the amount provisioned under the MLA Fund Scheme in the budget for the financial year 2025-26. This amount will be distributed in the ratio of 78%, 19% and 3% for General, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories respectively.
Approval of various development works under the State Plan
The Chief Minister has also approved funds for many important development works under the State Plan:
Pauri Garhwal: Approval of ₹ 3.71 crore for the new construction of motor road from Dehalchauri Motor Road to Kanda Temple via Chamapani-Dhaulkandi in Assembly constituency Pauri.
Haridwar: ₹5.44 crore approved for construction of 36 meter span pre-stressed RCC bridge on Pathri Roh river near Sukrasa village on Pathri to Bahadarabad road in Haridwar Rural Assembly Constituency.
Rudraprayag (Augustmuni): ₹4.45 crore approved for strengthening and road safety work by DBM and BC from km 01 to 05 of Khankra Chhatikhal motor road.
Rudraprayag (Kedarnath): ₹7.28 crore approved for construction of hanging bridge on the footpath leading to Panchkedar Shri Masta Madmaheshwar temple in development block Ukhimath.
Tehri Garhwal: ₹3.61 crore approved for improvement and asphalting work of Syalgi-Juladgaon-Dodak-Thapla motor road in Pratapnagar Assembly Constituency.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) also got financial approval
Chief Minister Dhami also approved the sanction of ₹ 2.18 crore for power supply work in Manpur-Kashipur Housing Project under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
Through all these decisions, the Chief Minister has reiterated his commitment towards the overall and balanced development of the state, which will make it possible to expand the infrastructure and improve the standard of living in various areas of the state.
