Two Kanwariyas died and three others were injured in a tragic accident on Dehradun’s Bhaniyawala flyover today. The accident occurred when five Kanwariyas riding a Splendor bike were coming from Haridwar to Dehradun and their bike went out of control and collided with the divider of the flyover.
Treatment of the injured continues in the hospital
The collision was so severe that two Kanwariyas died on the spot. The other three injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment, out of which two have been sent to Doon Hospital and one to CHC Doiwala.
Police investigating the cause of the accident
Kamal Kumar Lunthi of Doiwala Kotwali said that the deceased are being identified. In the preliminary investigation, all the Kanwariyas are said to be residents of Raipur area of Dehradun. The police is investigating the cause of the accident and the family members are being informed.
