A woman from Gadsir village of Narayanbagh died a painful death after falling from a rock while collecting grass in the forest. On receiving the information, the DDRF team reached the spot and rescued the body of the woman from a deep ditch. 36-year-old Krishna Devi, wife of Manveer Singh of Gadsir village, had gone to cut grass in the forest of Patori with other women of the village. Where she slipped and fell into a deep ditch.
Woman’s body recovered from the ditch
The women who came along informed the village about this incident. The villagers immediately informed the tehsil administration and sought help. The revenue police reached the spot late in the evening with the DDRF team and recovered the body of the woman from the ditch. SDM Pankaj Bhatt, who reached the spot, said that the Panchnama of the dead woman’s body has been filled and sent to the sub-district hospital Karnaprayag for post-mortem.
