An accident took place on the Dehradun-Rishikesh motor road. A truck full of Kanwariyas going for Jalabhishek at Neelkanth temple lost control and overturned near Durga Mata temple near Saat Mor. A total of 28 Kanwariyas including the driver were travelling in the truck. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the local people informed the Kotwali police.
All the injured were admitted to the hospital
The police reached the spot and took all the injured to SPS Government Hospital by 108 service and government hospital ambulance. In the incident, the condition of three Kanwariyas was critical and they were referred to the higher centre AIIMS, while the rest suffered minor injuries.
The Kanwariyas had come from Kaithal district
They are being treated in the government hospital. All the Kanwariyas have come from Kaithal district of Haryana.
