People are being airlifted safely.
Heli rescue operation started in Dharali
When the weather cleared a bit in Uttarkashi on Wednesday afternoon, helicopters started rescue operations. On Thursday morning, the weather is fine and people are being rescued by helicopter. According to the information received, till 10 am, 61 people have been shifted to ITBP Matli by helicopter. Arrangements have also been made to send the rescued people to their destination.
The number of dead has reached six
Let us tell you that the teams of Army, ITBP and SDRF are engaged in search and rescue operations by helicopter. During this, two bodies have been recovered. After which the number of dead has now reached six. Along with this, rescue operation is also going on in Harshil. 13 people including 11 soldiers trapped in the debris have been rescued. According to the district administration, 20 people including 10 army personnel are still missing, whose search is going on.
