Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday flagged off 20 new air-conditioned tempo traveler services of the Transport Corporation. Of these, 10 vehicles will run on the Dehradun-Mussoorie route and 10 on the Haldwani-Nainital route. The Chief Minister also experienced the service by traveling in a tempo traveler from the camp office to the GTC helipad. The Chief Minister said that these services will provide the passengers with the option of safe, smooth and economical travel and will also reduce the problem of jam. He said that if this initiative is successful, the number of these services will be increased further.

The Chief Minister informed that efforts are on to connect every region of the state with better road network and reliable transport services. The Transport Corporation is providing better services to the passengers through facilities like digital ticketing, online booking and tracking. He said that the corporation has been in profit for three consecutive years and soon electric buses will also be included in its fleet.

On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, Principal Secretary and Transport Corporation Chairman L. Fanai, MD Reena Joshi and other officials were present.
