CM Dhami said that along with the efforts of our government on forced conversion and demographic change, public cooperation and public awareness is also necessary for legal complaints. The Chief Minister said that along with implementing strict anti-riot law, our government has taken bold steps like strict action against land encroachment and UCC, but for the effective implementation of these bold efforts of the government, extensive public cooperation is expected.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the program “Developed India @ 2047 Collective Dialogue – With Ex-Servicemen” organized at Garhi Cantt, Dehradun. During the program, the Chief Minister interacted with the ex-servicemen present for the overall development of the state and took their suggestions.
Ex-servicemen should also become environmental guards along with national guards – Chief Minister
The Chief Minister said that the Forest Department has been instructed to plant 1000 trees in every division. The Chief Minister said that some time ago Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started the “Ek Ped Apni Maa Ke Naam” campaign in the country. On this occasion, I call upon all of you to participate in this campaign because all of you are not only the nation’s sentinels but also the protectors of our environment. Wherever you plant a tree, its growth will always be guaranteed because being a soldier, you will always take care of it.
The Chief Minister said that the number of tourists visiting the state in the last two months has exceeded 38 lakhs. With the efforts and support of the Prime Minister, winter travel and Adi Kailash travel have gained new momentum in the state. The unemployment rate in the state has come down to 4.2 which is less than the national average. The time for Mansarovar travel has been reduced by 7 days.
The interests of the soldiers and their families are our top priority – Chief Minister
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while welcoming and congratulating all the ex-servicemen present in the program, said that the soldiers have spent an important period of their lives protecting the country with valor, bravery and dedication. The soldiers have worked to increase the pride and honor of the tricolor on every front from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Kutch to Arunachal Pradesh.
The Chief Minister said that our state is not only Devbhoomi but also Veerbhoomi, because almost every family of our state is associated with the army. History is witness to the fact that our brave sons never left any stone unturned in sacrificing their lives to protect the motherland. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that I myself am also the son of a soldier, I have seen and understood the problems and challenges of ex-servicemen and their families closely. The Chief Minister said that he always has a feeling of deep sensitivity and dedication towards the martyrs and their families in his heart. Therefore, we have tried to ensure that this spirit is reflected in the work of our government.
