The Public Works Department has banned the leave of employees during the monsoon period. Leave will be granted only after the approval of the DM in unavoidable circumstances. The government has issued instructions in this regard. In the instructions issued by the government, it was said that the landslide areas should be marked and arrangements for machines (JCB), manpower etc. should be made at those places so that the roads closed due to landslides at these places can be opened for traffic.
All officers, employees will remain in their work area
All the working agencies will coordinate with the local administration. Keeping in mind the civil security, narrow roads, weak bridges should be marked and their safety measures should be taken in advance by the competent officer level. According to the government, it has also come to notice that all the engineers, personnel remain present in their offices. Whereas it is necessary to remain in the area during the monsoon period. All officers, employees will remain in their work area during the monsoon period. A nodal officer should be nominated as a coordination with all the working agencies for the monsoon period.
Motorized trolley should be arranged
According to Secretary Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Superintending Engineer Vijay Kumar has been appointed as the nodal officer in the Chief Engineer’s office. At the same time, DS Hayanki, Chief Engineer-in-charge has also been nominated as the nodal officer at the Chief Engineer’s office level. It has also been said in the order that if necessary at any place, motorized trolley should be arranged.
