The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has intensified the efforts to restart the tournament. Now the matches can be held not only in South India but all over the country. Announcement of new dates is also possible soon.

A senior BCCI official said that the war between India and Pakistan is on hold, so now matches can be held not only in South India but all over the country. Earlier it was reported that the BCCI has selected three cities Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad for the remaining matches, where the remaining 16 matches of IPL can be played.
