Dehradun: Major General Manoj Tiwari met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday. Major General Tiwari informed that 4,500 candidates from Uttarakhand have been selected in the Agniveer recruitment, and 2,000 vacant positions will be filled soon. He mentioned that to ensure maximum participation of youth from the state in future recruitments, camps will be organized at the state and district levels.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Uttarakhand is a soldier-dominated state and assured full administrative support to the army for recruitments in the state. He further stated that the state government will provide all possible assistance for the camps to be organized by the army in the state.
