Dehradun: In a cabinet meeting of the Uttarakhand government, it was decided to continue the Chief Minister’s free gas refill scheme for Antyodaya ration card holders until 2027. The aim of this scheme is to provide economic relief to poor families.
Indian soldiers and their widows who have been awarded the Ashok Chakra, Mahavir Chakra, Kirti Chakra, Vir Chakra, and Shaurya Chakra will be provided with free travel in roadways buses. The budget for this scheme will be directly allocated to the transport department.
A decision has been made to grant pension benefits to municipal employees who retired before 2007, even if they served for less than ten years. This decision will ensure the economic and social security of the employees.
